The third and final round of public meetings for the Arkansas River Crossing – 95th Street South (ARC95) Study have been scheduled in Derby and Haysville. The long-range transportation study looks at the needs and feasibility of improving the 95th Street corridor in southern Sedgwick County.The public is invited to attend the meetings, where details of the study will be discussed:

ARC95 November meetings offer chance for review, input
UPDATES: At public meetings in Derby and Haysville, an estimated 40 visitors heard updates about the ARC95 (Arkansas River Crossing-95th Street) Study. See the summary here. ARC95 Public Meetings November 2016
INTERCHANGE: In addition, participants were asked about their preferences for a crossing at the K-15/BSNF/95th Street intersection. Four options were reviewed:
- Four-quadrant Gate System alt1-four-quadrant-gate-system-fl
- Rail Over Roadway alt2-rail-over-roadway-fl
- Roadway Over Roadway and Rail (intersection) alt3-roadway-over-roadway-rail-fl
- Roadway Over Roadway and Rail (interchange) alt4-roadway-over-roadway-rail-fl
SURVEY: Attendees then filled out a survey, selecting one of the four options. Of those surveys returned, 71% of attendees selected Option 4. (See breakout in chart below) Participants also provided feedback directly to Sedgwick County staff and consultants at the meetings.
